About us
The various entities that contributed to this project offer visitors the opportunity
to delve into the literary geography associated with Jacint Verdaguer and Miquel
Martí Pol via the natural and cultural
landscapes the two men knew by visiting the literary heritage centres that
preserve their memory and by going on walks.
In view of
the Ter takes
in those places that symbolically unite these two poets’ views of our
landscapes.
Objectives and purpose of the project
- To highlight the influence that the literary output of Miquel Martí i
Pol and Jacint Verdaguer have had on Roda de Ter, Folgueroles and les Masies
de Voltregà.
- To strengthen the symbolic and identity values the two poets have given
to the municipalities.
- To promote the reading of and provide information about works by Miquel
Martí i Pol and Jacint Verdaguer.
- To support a journey through poetry that promotes literary tourism.
- To increase the budget for tourism in the area.
